Obituary

WORCESTER-Charlotte Anna Geary, 89 of 101 Randolph Road, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 13th in her daughter’s arms and surrounded by her family.
Her first husband, John J. Namiotka, passed away on October 27, 1972. She married James W. Geary, who passed away on November 1, 2000. She leaves her daughter Joan Zinkevich and her husband, Joe of Shrewsbury; her son Jack Namiotka and his wife, Sue of Holden; a brother, Fred Young and his wife, Lorraine of Leicester; two grandsons, John and his wife, Eliene of Holden and Jeff and his wife, Stacey of Ohio; five great grandchildren, Michaella, Anna Paula, Miranda, Nora and Gehrig and six nieces and nephews including Raymond Granger of Worcester, who was like a son to her.
Charlotte worked for 30 years as a nursing assistant at the former Grafton State Hospital before retiring in 1972. She graduated from Lincoln School of Practical Nursing.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Dodge Park Rest Home for the wonderful care Charlotte received there. They were truly her extended family. The family also wants to thank Jewish Home Hospice for their care and for making Charlottes transition to her family in Heaven a peaceful journey.
Funeral services and burial were private. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.
