Obituary

WORCESTER____B. Rose Gilberg, 94, formerly of Worcester and Leominster, MA was called home to heaven on Jan. 28, 2010.

Rose was a woman of great faith and had been a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church for many years. She sang with the Jolly Jills and studied at Holy Cross College.
She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1995. She is survived by her four children: Patricia Gilberg, John C. Gilberg, Marilyn Therrien, and Katherine Gilberg, her four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Rose was kind to and accepting of everyone, always looking for the “good” in people. She is dearly missed.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 357 Grafton St, Worcester, and she will be laid to rest immediately following in St. John’s Cemetery in Hopkinton, MA. The family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities, 10 Hammond St., Worcester, Ma., 01610. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., has care of the arrangements.
