Clodene Richards, 84, Clarksville, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Alive Hospice at Skyline, Nashville, TN. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Steve Kirby and George Stiffey officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born November 15, 1925 in Castalian Springs, TN daughter of the late Myrth Benjamin Kendall and Dona Frances Moore Kendall. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Creed Kendall, Carl Kendall, and David Moore Kendall (Little Sonny). Ms. Richards was a retired school teacher with the Seminole County School System in Sanford, FL. She was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Blanton (Michael), Clarksville and Susan Wenner (Dave), Geneva, FL; three sisters, Christine White (Jack), Georgia, Katie Hundley, and Carol Speakman (Jim) both of Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jennifer Harris (Skyler), Jason Blanton (Gloria), Zachary Wenner (Elisha), Tiffany Coutinho (Daniel) and Angeley Wenner;and three great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Harris, Hannah Harris, and Trevor Blanton.
