WORCESTER____Paul E. Bousquet, 56, of Worcester, went peacefully to meet the Lord on June 13, 2010 after a brief illness.
Paul leaves his mother and his best friend, Jane A. (Muhr) Bousquet Perron of Worcester with whom he lived and his step father Hubert Perron. Paul also leaves a sister, Ann Marie Gilchrist of Worcester; a brother, Stephen Bousquet and his wife Susan of Charlton; one niece, Kristin Gilchrist and her fiancé Jeff Gray of Worcester; four nephews, Stephen Bousquet and his wife Sonia of Sturbridge; Ryan Bousquet and his wife Heather of Worcester; Timothy Bousquet and Kevin Bousquet both of Charlton and one great niece who he called the “loved of his life” Amanda Pelosi of Worcester. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul was the son of the late Ernest P. Bousquet and was also predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Paul graduated from North High School, Worcester. He was the author of a book “Purgatory Time Slot” and was writing a second book at the time of his death. Paul loved nature and the great outdoors and to those of us who spent time with him realize that he was content and happy and always said he lived his life “his way”.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Francis Home in Worcester and the hospice staff for all the kindness and compassion that they showed us. We will be forever grateful.
Paul’s family will meet with family and friends on Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 9 to 10:30 A.M. in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street. A Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Home, 101 plantation St., Worcester, Ma., 01604
