STANTON, Walter A., age 96 of Maywood, NJ, formerly of Union City, NJ died on June 13, 2010
Beloved husband of the late Margaret Cassidy (1980) and Angela Travellin (1999). Devoted father of Thomas and his wife Joan, Peggy Chibaro and her husband Frank. Dear brother of Wilton, the late Al Stanton and Lillian Arthur. Loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren. Cherished great grandfather of 11 great grandchildren.
Walter was a Master Carpenter for Local #6 in Union City, NJ. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Rochelle Park, NJ, and was a long-time, ham-radio operator with the call sign: K2JNG.
Friends and family are invited for visitation on Wednesday, June 16th, from 6-9 PM at the Volk-Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. Funeral service to begin on Thursday at 9 AM from the funeral home and then to Madonna Chapel on the Hill for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery.
