TEWKSBURY - Mary Arlene Dewing, age 74, a member of a well known Tewksbury family, died Sunday morning, June 13, at Tewksbury Hospital, following a long period of declining health.
She was born at Tewksbury Hospital, February 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Elmer A. and Mary B. (Tapley) Brewster. She lived in Tewksbury the greater part of her life, and was employed as a Nurses Aid at Tewksbury Hospital until her retirement.
She is survived by a son, Henry Dewing of Tewksbury; a brother, Elmer A. Dewing of Brookline, NH; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Thursday, June 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of donors choice. Arrangements are through the Tewksbury Funeral Home. tewksburyfuneralhome.com
