Francis R. "Frank" Byrne, 52 of Derry, NH, died Saturday, November 1, 2003 in Auburn, NH. Mr. Byrne was born in Queens, NY on December 18, 1950, a son of Rosemary (Demarest) Byrne and the late Francis Byrne. He was a resident of Derry for the past seven years, formerly living in Washingtonville, NY and Queens, NY. He was a graduate of Cathedral Prep High School in Queens, NY and received his Masters degree from Pace University in Manhattan, NY. Mr. Byrne was a US Army veteran who served as a medic in the 101st Airborne. He was employed as a Vice President of Systems Banking for JP Morgan-Chase in Lowell, MA. He was a member of MENSA and he enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah A. (Sviridoff) Byrne of Derry, one daughter, Justine Byrne of Derry, one son, Edward Byrne of Derry, his mother of Washingtonville, NY, three sisters, Kathleen Casale of Lindenhurst, NY, Patricia Karpusiewicz and Maureen Walpole both of Washingtonville, NY, one brother, Edward Byrne of Garden City, NY, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8th at 10:00am in the Holy Cross Church, 187 Hampstead Rd., Derry with cremation to follow. Friends may call on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to one's local Fire and Rescue department or to the Massabesic Audubon Society, 26 Audubon Way, Auburn, NH 03032.
