TOPSFIELD: Yvonne L. (Pero) Boudreau, 89, died Friday, June 11, 2010 in the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine. She was the wife of the late Isadore J. Boudreau.
Born in Salem on October 2, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Augustine (Carrier) Pero. A graduate of the Salem Vocational School, Yvonne resided in Salem and Topsfield for many years before moving to Saco, Maine in 2008.
Yvonne was employed for Vic’s Catering for many years and worked at the former Kennedy Egg & Butter Store in Salem and Beverly for several years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine T. and David M. Keating of Ellsworth, Maine, formerly of Topsfield, her son and daughter-in-law, William L. and Carol (Shaw) Boudreau of Saco, Maine, six grandchildren, Deborah and her husband, Jeffrey McDermott, Gregory and his wife, Gerri-Lynn Keating, Jared and his wife, Deedra Boudreau, Jessica and her husband, Paul Snyder, Amy Boudreau and Adam Boudreau, several great-grandchildren, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rose Pelletier and Irene and Joseph Fazio all of Danvers, a brother and two sisters-in-law, Napoleon and Mary Pero of Beverly and Jeanette Pero of Salem and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Norman Boudreau, three sisters, Adele Pero, Beatrice Hall and Doris Mackey and two brothers, William and Albert Pero.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 5 – 8 p.m. Prayers of committal will be held on Wednesday in the North Beverly Cemetery, Cabot Street, Beverly at 9:30 a.m. followed by a service to be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 9 Jewett Street, Georgetown at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Rd., Scarborough, ME 04074.
