Charles A. Stevens, Jr.
Shrewsbury - Charles A. "Chucky" Stevens, Jr., died unexpectedly at home on Friday, June 11, 2010. He was 69. He leaves three sons and a daughter, Cheryl, Craig "Buddy", Jeffrey, and Christopher; two sisters, Judith Mitchell of Worcester, widow of Richard J. Mitchell, Jr., (d. April 2010) and Paula Boothman of Swansea, wife of Stephen Boothman; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Urevich.

He was born in Worcester, son of Pearl L. (Schnare) and Charles A. Stevens, Sr. He belonged to Lakeview Congregational Church. He was a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of AmVets and the Shrewsbury Police Association. Chucky spent winters at his home in Florida, and he enjoyed vacationing in Old Orchard Beach, Maine and visiting the family farm in Westfield, MA. He loved riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, and archery. He was a free spirit.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 16, at 11:00 a.m. in Lakeview Congregational Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lakeview Congregational Church, 115 Coburn Avenue, Worcester, MA 01604.
