Floyd Carlos Marshall, 77, of Tifton, died Friday, June 11, 2010, at Golden Living Center following an extended illness. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Oaky Grove Baptist Church in Wrightsville. Rev. Joseph Crumley will officiate with interment to follow in Oaky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Marshall was born on August 18, 1932 in Washington County, where he was raised. He was the son of Benjamin Thomas Marshall and Nancy Page Marshall, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one brother, B. T. Marshall; and one sister, Eunice Blount. He was a retired jewelry repairman and watch maker. He lived in Macon for 45 years and Tifton for the past two years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Marshall is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Rev. Joseph Crumley of Tifton; two brothers, Lorin Marshall of Macon and Bobby Marshall of Mooresville, North Carolina; one sister, Lessie Meeks of Macon; and two grandchildren, Russ and Hannah Crumley, both of Tifton.
