WOONSOCKET, RI-Elizabeth Ann (Kruczek) Moreau, 56, of Woonsocket, passed away Wednesday, June 9th at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket surrounded by her family.
She leaves her three children, Shawn Lee, Samantha and Joseph; three beloved grandchildren, Stephanie, Krystal and Elliana all of Woonsocket; her mother, Elizabeth A. (Jackman) Kruczek of Auburn; two brothers, Ronald R. Kruczek of Auburn and Charles H. Kruczek and his wife, Paula of Paxton; a sister, Kathleen T. Soucie and her husband, Kevin of East Brookfield; her fiancée Anthony Colace of Woonsocket; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Henry R. Kruczek; her maternal grandparents, Charles A. and Elizabeth A. Jackman of Leicester, her paternal grandparents, Frank and Statia Kruczek of Worcester; her much loved god father and uncle, Charles J. Jackman of Leicester.
She was born in Worcester and lived in Auburn and Worcester before moving to Woonsocket. Elizabeth attended school in Auburn and graduated from Marian High School, Quinsigamond Community College and Worcester State College. She also attended Green Mountain College in Vermont.
She was active in the Girl Scouts in both Auburn and Woonsocket and was a veteran serving in the United States Army. Her love of cooking and sewing will be truly missed at family gatherings. She will be also remembered for her great love for all animals – boxer dogs, cats, hamsters and rabbits to name but a few.
A compassionate and loving person to and for all she came in contact with, she was an inspiration during her brief struggle with aggressive cancer always showing courage, strength and concern for all those she would be leaving behind.
After cremation, a celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
