Jason Carl Price, 30, of Ocilla, Georgia died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M., Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Arbor Baptist Church with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Fitzgerald from 7:00 until 9:00 Friday evening.
Jason was born May 2, 1980 in Fitzgerald to Michael Price of Ocilla and Cindy Sidwell Cowart of Fitzgerald. He lived in Fitzgerald most of his life, attending Fitzgerald High School. Jason was a former member of the Georgia State Defense Force and was a member of Arbor Baptist Church. His love was his family and he enjoyed studying History and collecting Civil War memorabilia. Jason was also was a member of the Sons Of Confederate Veterans, Jeff Davis Camp.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Kristen Cowart of Fitzgerald; grandfather: James Price of Ocilla; grandmother: Clare Fussell of Fitzgerald; uncle: Eddie Sidwell of Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Michael “Jamie” Price and grandparents, Carlton and Annie Lou Sidwell.
