Morris Gilefsky, 95 passed away on June 8, 2010 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Morris was a resident of Swampscott for 30 years, a resident of Florida for 21 years and a resident of Revere for 6 years. He was educated in the Malden schools. Morris was the owner of the Chelsea Reliable Meat Market for many years. He was also a member of the Masons.
Morris was the beloved husband of the late Minnie (Ross) Gilefsky. He was the devoted father of Ronald Gilefsky and his wife Barbara and Sandra Clark. Morris was the loving grandfather of Scott, Judd, Erica, Michael and Stephen. He was the loving great grandfather of Seth, Isabelle, Mackenzie, Spencer, Logan and Olivia.
Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Cary Sq., Chelsea on Thursday June 10, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Everett. Memorial observance will be held immediately following the interment at the Jack Satter House, 9th floor, until 5:00 PM, and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Sunday June 13, 2010, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Gilefsky, 1:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Jack Satter House Tenant’s Association, 420 Revere Beach Blvd., Revere, MA 02151 or to a charity of your choice.
