Frank Albert Raggiani of Saint John New Brunswick Canada, formerly of Canton passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born at Boston, Massachusetts, on May 12, 1922, he was a son of the late Albert and Annita (Tasso) Raggiani. In his early years, Frank went to St. John School and graduated from Canton High School in Canton, Massachusetts in 1934. In his youth he was an avid baseball player. Frank was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Infantry of the US Army 30th Division overseas from 1944-1945. He was also a member of the Salvation Army. Frank was employed as a Traffic Manager for Emerson and Cumming Electronics for twenty-five years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #25, Canton, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69 and the Disabled American Veteran’s Association. Frank was a lifetime member of the Canton Town Club, and enjoyed spending his winters in Florida. Beloved husband of the late June (Addison) Raggiani, Frank is survived by his sister-in-law Josephine Raggiani of Canton, and his brother-in-law Lewis Williams of Saint John, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife of over fifty years, Frank was predeceased by his brothers, Emilo Raggiani, Vincent Raggiani, John Raggiani and his sister Dorothy Bailey. Relatives & friends invited to attend visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral 455 Washington St. Canton, Friday morning June 18th from 8:00- 9:30, followed by graveside service at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
