SHAWN M. DONNELLY, of Scituate, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 7th, 2010 at the age of 51. Shawn graduated from North Weymouth Vocational High School in 1977 and had lived in Scituate for the past 30 years. Shawn was a long time member of the Local 550 Sprinkler Fitters Union.
He was the loving husband of Amy Whitman Donnelly of Scituate, formerly of Hingham; and caring father of Erin Shawn, Meghan Shawn and Cara Shawn Donnelly. Loving brother of Sharon O'Keefe, Mitch, Kelly and Patrick Donnelly, Diane Stork, Karen Shuley and Gilbert Young.
Shawn touched many lives with his generosity and sincerity; he will be missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 12th at 10 AM at St. Paul's Church, 147 North St., Hingham Square.
Relatives and friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Friday from 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shawn's memory may be made to Father Bill's Place, 38 Broad St., Quincy, MA 02169.
The interment is to be private.
