Obituary

Louise A. (Frye) Packard, 73, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 6 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton. Daughter of the late Abraham and Frances (Button) Frye, she was born in Chelsea, raised in Randolph and graduated from Stetson High School in Randolph. Louise was a resident of Stoughton for 50 years. She was a Credit Officer for Bank of Boston for over 20 years before retiring 11 years ago.
Louise was a Stoughton Town Meeting member for 38 years. She was on the Cedar Hill Golf Operations Committee, as well as a founding member of STOYAC. She was also an Election Tally Clerk in Stoughton. An avid Patriots fan and season ticket holder, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Denise L. Wallace and her husband Peter of Stoughton as well as her grandchildren, Heather and David Wallace. She was the sister of Ralph Frye of Randolph, Millie Granzow of FL, Eileen Burkhart of KY and David Frye of NC. She was the dear friend of Jeanne Fleming of Stoughton and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Thursday, June 10 at 8:45 AM followed by a Funeral Service at First Parish Universalist Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
