Mr. Thomas Aubern Snider, age 86, of Ararat, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Davidson County on May 14, 1924 to the late Gurney Ernest and Mary Carroll Snider.Mr. Snider worked as a Machinist and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.Mr. Snider is survived by his wife, Patricia Gough Snider; one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy (Marty) Snider of Winston-Salem; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley (Jimmy) Green of Ararat; one grandson and wife, Shane Snider and Elizabeth Katz.Mr. Snider is preceded in death by three brothers, Clifton Snider, Hewell Snider and G.E. Snider Jr.; and one sister, Frances Willis.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Kermit Gray officiating with interment to follow at Parklawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Winston-Salem.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 7-9 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.Memorials may be made in floral tribute or to Mt.
