Ruby Julia (Jameson) Morse, 90, of Manchester, NH passed away Friday, June 4th at her home. Born September 28, 1919 in Derry, NH to the late William and Julia (Hamblett) Jameson, she worked as a salesperson for the Peerless Life Insurance Company for many years. Ruby was an avid golfer who loved big cars, the Boston Red Sox, sewing, gardening and painting. Above all her other passions in life came her family. Her children were the apple of her eye.
Mrs. Morse leaves her daughter, May Shaw of Manchester, NH, her step-son, Joseph "Skip" Morse Jr. and his wife Barbara of NC. She also leaves her 6 grandchildren, Kathy Simard and her husband Richard of Manchester, Karen Bunker and her husband Scott of Manchester, Richard Roberge and his wife Eva of NC, Edward Roberge of NC, Katie Morse of NY, Erin Morse of NC, 5 great grandchildren, April Lakhbal and her husband Driss of Rochester, NH, Pvt. Jeremy Bunker of Manchester (currently serving in Afghanistan), Nicole Roberge of NC, Nathaniel Roberge of NC, Aidan Roberge of NC and 2 great great grandchildren, Cole Joyal of Dover, NH and James Wynes III. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Morse in 1993, her brother, William Jameson, a sister, Maybelle Normand and by a great granddaughter, Bethany Kay Joyal in 2005.
Calling hours were held on Thursday June 10, 2010 from 9-11am at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service followed at 11am in the funeral home.
