Hilda A. (Pedro) Short, 81 of New Bedford died November 3, 2003 at home after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Jerome C. and Hilda (Marsh) Pedro.
Mrs. Short was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was formerly employed by Isotronics Corporation for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth W. Picard, and his wife Phyllis, of New Bedford; a sister, Barbara Piedade of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Kenneth W. Picard, Jr. and Kimberly Sousa, both of New Bedford; 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Jerome Pedro, Jr. and William Pedro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New BedfordWednesday, November 5th at 8 PM.
Visiting hours Wednesday, November 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Interment private.
