Gomes (53) died Tuesday in Brockton Hospital.
Mr. Gomes was born in Praia, Cape Verde
Son of the late Antonio Gomes and Domingas Ramos of
Praia. He was a resident of Brockton the past 8 years
coming from Cape Verde. He enjoyed watching soccer.
In addition to his mother he is survived by
His wife Maria Barbosa of Brockton and Alberta DePina
the mother of his children. Alexandre leaves 1 son Zileno Tarvars Gomes, 7 daughters, Suzy, Eloisa, Solita, Dulce, Rubiano, Ester, and Alexandra Gomes-Ramos all of Brockton. Many brothers and sisters in Cape Verde.
Funeral services will be in the 7th Day Adventist Cape Verdean speaking Church, 28 Warren Ave. Brockton at 11 am Monday June 7th. Burial will follow in Melrose cemetery. Visitation in the home of Funerarias Multi Culturel Saturday June 5th from 5-9 and Sunday June 6th from 4-8 pm.
