Raymond J. Roderick, 73, of Briggs Rd., Westport died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mary (Correia) Roderick.
Born in Fall River, he was son of Rosalie (Lewis) Roderick-Moura of Tiverton and the late Joseph Roderick. A veteran of the Korean War, he served his country in the United Stated Air Force. Mr. Roderick was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. He was a tech engineer for the former Foxboro Company.
Including his wife and mother, survivors include 2 daughters: Deborah J. Roderick of New Bedford and Lori A. Roderick-Hadfield of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren: Rory Hadfield, Brendan Hadfield and Ian Nunes; brother-in-law: Raymond Correia; 3 sisters-in-law: Agnes Correia, Marianna Correia and Rose Correia; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, June 5, 2010 at the Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday 6 – 8 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
