Clara J. (Braddock) Longworth, 89, of Salem, NH died Tues. June 1st
at her home.
Clara was born in Methuen, MA the daughter of the late D. Genevieve (Gray) and William Braddock. She was a lifelong Salem resident. Clara and her siblings were raised on the Braddock Farm and were active in the blueberry business. In her early working years, Clara did domestic work at Hood Farm and LaValley’s Hair Shop. She was an Assistant Nurse to Dr. Baketel and was a Practical Nurse at the Pacific Mill. Clara worked in the cafeteria at the Haigh and Fisk Schools.
She enjoyed crafts, reading, watching baseball and golf and her pet canary “Buddy”. Clara was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She attended First Congregational Church and was in the Philathea Group.
She was predeceased by her husband George Longworth and her siblings Eleanor Pothier, George, James, Charles and J. Clifford Braddock.

Memorial Visitation is Fri. June 4th from 10-11 AM with a Memorial Service at 11AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Urn burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
