TEWKSBURY - Michael J. Lucchesi, 49, died Sunday morning, Nov. 2, at the Lawrence GeneralHospital in Lawrence after a 10 year battle with Muscular Dystrophy. He was the husband ofLori A. (Francoeur) Lucchesi, with whom he had celebrated an 18th wedding anniversary this pastAug. 3rd.
He was born in Holyoke, Mass. Jan. 19, 1954, a son of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Higgins)Lucchesi. He was raised in Holyoke, and had lived in Billerica before moving to Tewksbury in1989.
He was employed in pharmaceutical manufacturing as a chemist before illness forced hisretirement.
He was an active communicant of St. Michael’s Church in No. Andover, where he served as aEucharistic Minister and a member of the St. Michael’s Mens Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Andrew Lucchesi and Benjamin Lucchesi both ofTewksbury; his twin sister, Judith Tarascio of So. Hadley; and several aunts and uncles.
