Sara Ida Ross Clayton, age 85, of Douglas GA passed away on Sunday,
May 30, 2010, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas GA.
Funeral services were held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 02, 2010, at
Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Holladay and Rev. Terry Reagin officiating. Raymond Luke gave the prayer, a tribute was made by Rev. Joe Daniels and Dave Morse gave the eulogy. Friends, Betty Ruth Griffin, Debbi Sutton and Frances Luke spoke of their remembrances of their friend. Kaye Guthrie, pianist, played the prelude and postlude. Lynn Reagin sang, “If You Could See Me Now” and the congregation sang “God Leads Us Along”, “What a Day That Will Be” and “In His Time”. Sandy Rose, soloist, sang “In the Garden” and “What a Friend We Have In Jesus” medley. Burial followed in the Douglas City Cemetery. Active pallbearers were: Jerry Sutton, Dennis Josey, Ray Fussell, Joshua Morse, Erik Morse, and Chris Ferris. Honorary Pallbearer was : Raymond Luke. Memorials may be made to Mexico Medical Missions in care of Northside Baptist Church, 2489 Douglas-Broxton Hwy, Douglas GA 31533
