
WEBSTER - Alan S. “Al” Dupont, 48, of Poland Street, died Monday, May 31, in the Lahey Clinic, Burlington.
He leaves his mother, Dolores A. (Gallant) LeBlanc of Webster; six siblings, Judith A. Dupont and Jacqueline A. Power, both of Dudley, David F. Dupont of Webster, Christine A. Emery and her husband Brian of Portsmouth, VA, Kevin A. Dupont and his wife Kathy L. Dupont, and Lawrence C. Dupont, all of Webster; three nephews, Joshua, Zachary and Josiah Emery; a niece, Kellie Rose Emery; 2 aunts, Rita McCarthy and her husband Armand of Webster and Sister Dorothy Gallant with the Sisters of Charity in New York City; and first cousins Richard McCarthy and his wife Mary of West Boylston and Kathy Flibbert and her husband David of Webster.
He was born in Webster and lived here most of his life. He graduated from St. Louis Elementary School and then from Bartlett High School in 1980.
He was a member of St. Louis Church. He excelled at creating oil paintings and completing large jigsaw puzzles. He loved music and enjoyed attending concerts. He liked fishing, watching major league sports and going to car races at Thompson Speedway.
The funeral will be held Friday, June 4, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday, June 3, in the funeral home.
