Frances (Martel) Chouinard, 93, of Hooksett died May 31, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in St. Francois du Lac, Quebec, on December 2, 1916 and was the daughter of Moise Ida and Ellen (Nadeau) Martel. She lived in Hooksett for most of her life.
She loved Jesus and reading the Bible and also enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Odilon J. Chouinard in 1992.
The family includes three sons, Jean Chouinard and Raymond Chouinard both of Allenstown, and Joe “Joey” Chouinard of Concord; seven grand-children and 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeanne Landry of Springfield IL; a brother, Robert Martel of Manchester and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, June 4, 2010 at Holy Rosary Church, 21 Main St., Hooksett Burial followed in Holy Rosary Cemetery, 21 Main St., Hooksett.
