Obituary

Mr. Joseph Cary Irvin McGee age 68, of Siloam passed away on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Northern Hospital of Surry County after an extensive illness. Mr. McGee was born in Stokes County on June 23, 1941 to the late Clarence Oscar and Mary Lou Mikles McGee.
Mr. McGee served his Country in the US Army and worked as a construction worker.
Mr. McGee is survived by his wife, Linda O’Neal McGee; two sons and daughter-in-law, David and Pamela McGee and Preston McGee both of Siloam; four grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Taymond McGee and Matthew McBride; two brothers, Russell and Kenneth Wayne McGee and three sisters, Mary Britt, Bonnie King and Annie Dunn.
Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his parents.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Salisbury
National Cemetery with Bro. Homer Lowdermilk officiating with Full Military Honors.
The family will receive friends at their home at 107 T & T Place Lot 4, Siloam, NC 27047. Memorials may be made to the Joseph McGee Funeral Fund c/o Cox-Needham PO Box 37, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www.coxneedham.com) is assisting the McGee family.
