Bristow, William "Bill" Ansel, 80, passed away Tuesday (May 25, 2010) at Signature Healthcare South.
He was born in Hartford, KY to Cecil & Virgeline (Newcom)Bristow Sr.
He was a retired U. S. Navy Chief Petty Officer with 21 years service and a Korean War Veteran
He attended Shively Baptist Church and was a member of V.F.W. Mill Creek Post # 5421.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Brother: Cecil Bristow Jr.
Survivors include his wife: Analeta "Ann" (Hockenberry) Bristow; and 5 children: Todd & David Bristow, Betty Schuetter, Barbara Mitchell, & Beverly Coomer. 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister: Martha Bristow.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday (June 1, 2010) at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with Dr. Ken Cutrer officiating.
Burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, with U.S. Navy military rites.
Visitation will be 2 PM - 9 PM Monday and 9 - 12 Noon Tuesday.
