Joseph J. Spinale, 87 of Derry, NH died Monday after a brief illness in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH.
Born in Boston, he lived in Derry for the past 7 months and was formerly of Revere and Somerville. He was the son of the late Josephine (Savorie) and Franco Spinale. Joseph was a Truck Driver for 43 years in the Boston area and his last employment was with the former Halls Motor Transportation and retired in 1985. He was a member of the Teamsters’ Local 25. Joseph served during World War II in the Army from 1943 to 1945.
Beloved husband of the late Julia M. (Holton) Spinale. Devoted father of Frank Spinale of Wilmington, Robert Spinale of Goffstown, NH, Michael Spinale of Meredith, NH and the late Jacqueline Terabelli. Also survived by 7 loving grandchildren and 10 loving great grandchildren. Brother of Mary Passanisi, Carmela Mazzone, Tillie Purpura, Jenny Caccia, Josephine Silvestro and the late Vincent Spinale and Helen Lewis. Brother in law of Rolanda Spinale.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
