WORCESTER-Tan Van Duong, 81, of Worcester, died Monday, May 24th in his home. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Hanh Thi Tran; four sons; five daughters, all of the United States; three brothers, two of the United States and one of Vietnam; and nineteen grandchildren.
Mr. Duong was born in Vietnam, the son of Hoanh Van Duong and Loc Thi Phan. He left Vietnam in 1978 and came to Worcester in 1979. Mr. Duong owned a retail store in Vietnam and was an assembler at a leather shop in Littleton.
The funeral is Friday, May 28th with at service at 9:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, May 27th from 3:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
