WESTPORT - Roger O. Sartini, III, 47, of Mouse Mill Road, Westport, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 21, 2010. He was the husband of Debra L. (Haynes) Sartini.
Born in Fall River, a son of Roger O. Sartini, Jr. and Irene (Castergine) Sartini of Tiverton. He was the owner and operator of ROS Boats Inc, of Westport where he designed and built his own line of boats since 1981. He also designed the patented ROS Buoyancy Bracket. Roger had been an instructor at the Bill Aguiar School of Martial Arts with a 4th Dan Black Belt. He will always be remembered as being multi-talented, his love of the ocean and breeding his German Shepards.
Survivors including his wife and parents are 2 daughters: Jill Sartini and Janelle Sartini both of Little Compton; a step-daughter: Rebecca Charros of New Bedford; a step-son: Michael Charros of New Bedford; a brother: William Sartini of Tiverton; a sister: Jean Marie Cookinham of Tiverton; several nieces and nephews;
He was the father of the late: Kimberly Ann Sartini.
Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Potter Funeral Home from 4:00-7:30 P.M. followed by a service at 7:30 P.M.
Interment service will be private.
