Iris Tucker Sapp, 81, of Berrien County, Georgia, died Friday, October 31, 2003, at Osceola Nursing Home, Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, November 3, 2003, at Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Irwin County with Elder Paul Thomas, Elder Maurice Riner & Elder Elliott Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Sunday at Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla.
Mrs. Sapp was born February 18, 1922 in Berrien County, Georgia, to the late Willie & Naomi Paulk Tucker. Her husband Richard Harvey Sapp also preceded her in death. Mrs. Sapp lived in Berrien County most of her life and was a former resident of Douglas, GA. She was a Homemaker and a former employee of Union Pharmacy in Douglas. Mrs. Sapp was a member of Spring Hill Primitive Baptist Church, Irwin County.
Survivors include: Two Sons & Daughter-in-law, Glynn & Brenda Sapp, Alapaha and Randy Sapp, Tifton; One Grandson, Richard Andrew “Drew’ Sapp, Tifton; One Sister & Brother-in-law, Clarice & Nelson Boykin, West Palm Beach, FL and One Brother & Sister-in-law, James & Audrey Tucker, Waycross and several Nieces & Nephews.
