Obituary

F. Jeannette (James) Moulton, 82 of Franklin died May 21, in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester; she was the wife of the late Paul M. Moulton who died 2004.
Born in Cohasset, April 21, 1928, the daughter of the late Percival and Ida (Campbell) James, Mrs. Moulton grew up in Cohasset and had lived in Franklin since the early 1950’s.
Mrs. Moulton was a graduate of Boston University.
She first was a teacher at Dean Jr. College, where she met her future husband Paul.
Jeannette then went on to teach 1st grade in Franklin for over 30 years before her retirement.
Mrs. Moulton enjoyed travelling and was an active member of the Franklin Federated Church.
She volunteered extensively; she helped with the Meals on Wheels program, FISH, the “Warm Puppies” and was a member of the Alden Club.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Moulton of Franklin, Elizabeth Moulton of Andover, Vermont and Margaret Moulton Firinne of Amherst.
She is also survived by her sister, Carol Warren of Marianna, Florida and her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, and Andrew Moulton and Keeley, Matthew, and Kayona Firinne and her great-grandchildren, Giannie and Harleigh Moulton.
She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 25 in the Franklin Federated Church at 11:00.
Burial will be private.
Visitation will be in the Church on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Franklin Federated Church, 171 Main St., Franklin, MA 02038.
