Obituary

Domenic J. Rosati, 89 of Billerica, died Thursday after a brief illness in the Boston VA Healthcare System, Boston, MA.

Born in Boston, he lived in Billerica for the past 8 years and was formerly of Medford and the North End of Boston. He was the son of the late Concanza (Fassana) and Vito Rosati. Domenic was a Shipper, with Schrafft's Candy Company for 12 years and retired 1983. He served during World War II in the U S Army from 1942 to 1945. He was captured on the Rhine River in Germany and held as a POW for 8 months. Domenic received the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

Beloved husband of the late Nunzia “Lulu” (Valarese) Rosati. Devoted father of Constance Osborne of Billerica, Domenic Jr. and Anthony Rosati both of Medford. Also survived by 6 loving grandchildren and 8 loving great grandchildren. Brother of Vincenza Braunstein of New York, Emillo Rosati of Millis, and the late Rocco, George, and Anthony Rosati.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
