Robert Kenneth Miller age 67 passed away on May 20, 2010 at the Colonial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Miller was a resident of Weymouth for 27 years. He was born in Winthrop and raised in Revere. Robert was educated in the Revere schools and was a graduate of Revere High School. He was also a graduate of Burdett College. Robert was a long time employee for the City of Boston. He was a member of Congregation Sha’Aray Shalom of Hingham. Robert was a long time member of the Toastmaster Organization. He also enjoyed storytelling. Robert also enjoyed country music, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with his beloved cat “Muffin”.
Robert was the beloved husband of Naomi (Fogel) Miller. He was the devoted stepfather of Nancy Miller and her husband Paul and David Wolfson and his fiancé Sarah Snell. Robert was the loving son of Morris and Ida Miller. Robert was the dear brother of Diane Freedman and her husband Alan and Tomas Miller and his wife Barbara. Loving grandfather of Marc Miller. He was the devoted uncle of Sheri Freedman, Elizabeth Miller and Matthew Miller. He is also survived by his beloved cat “Muffin”.
A graveside service will be held, Sunday May 23, 2010 11:00 AM at the New Tifereth Israel of Everett Cemetery, Fuller St. Everett, MA. Memorial observance will be held at his late residence following the interment until 9:00 PM and Monday 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation 11 Vanderbilt Ave. Norwood, MA 02062.
