Obituary

Morgan Nathan Clark, 66, of Trenton, Florida, passed away with his family at his side on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Haven Hospice of the Tri Counties in Chiefland, Florida. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2010, in Zion Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Mike Weldon will give a eulogy.

Mr. Morgan was born on September 25, 1943 in Saint Augustine, Florida and was the son of David and Corrine Clark. He had lived in the Chiefland, Florida for over 25 years and lived in Georgia as well. He was a retired police officer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, horses and motorcycles. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Chiefland, Florida and served his country in the United States Army.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Patricia Cason Clark of Trenton, Florida; four sons, James Morgan Clark of Cross City, Florida, John Nathan Clark of Gainesville, Florida, Joseph William Clark of Trenton, Florida and Nathan Proctor of Virginia; two daughters, Shannon Carter of Old Town, Florida and Donna Hunt of Old Town, Florida; two brothers, Hennon Clark of Florida and Nelson Clark of Saint Augustine, Florida; one sister, JoAnn Mullis of Jacksonville, Florida; and nine grandchildren.
