Silvanna “Tia” Martinho a/k/a/ Martin, age 89 of Fall River, passed away May 20, 2010. She was the widow of Jose Martin and the daughter of the late Manuel S. and Silvana (Medeiros) Machado. Silvanna was a retired presser at Pearl Laundry, then a Seamstress at Merit Dress Co and she was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel S. “Sammy” Machado Jr., Mary Medeiros & Alice Freitas
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Saturday at 8:45A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Santo Christo Church at 9:45 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-8 P.M.
