Obituary

Harry R. Hall, 95, of Methuen died on Wednesday May 5, 2010 at The Nevins Nursing Centre, Methuen. Harry was born, raised and educated in Methuen and has lived in Methuen all of his life. Before retirement, he served as a Methuen firefighter from 1947 to 1974. Harry served with The US Army during WW II in The European Theatre. He was a member of The Christian Fellowship Church of The Merrimack Valley and a member of The Arlington Social Club, Lawrence. He was also a member of Arnold Greenwood Post, VFW, Methuen and a member of The Methuen Police and Firefighters Retirees Association. He was active with The Methuen Senior Citizens and a member of The Friendly Seniors of The United Methodist Church, Lawrence.
The widower of Helen D. (Lorenz) Hall his family members include his sister-in-law and her husband, Mildred (Lorenz) Calvert and Richard Calvert of Wolfeboro, NH and his nieces, Patricia DiMeo of Rumford, RI and Linda Prescott of Groveland, MA.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to memorial services on Saturday May 22, 2010 at 11:30 am in The Christian Fellowship Church of The Merrimack Valley, 93 East Haverhill Street, Lawrence. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to The Christian Fellowship Church of he Merrimack Valley or to The Methuen Senior Center, 77 Lowell St., Methuen, Ma. 01844. Arrangements are by The Charles F.
