Mrs. Lucille A. (Valliere) Gleason, 61, of Cascade Gorham, NH passed away on Monday May 17, 2010 at her home, following a long illness. She was born in Berlin, NH on Nov. 11, 1948 the daughter of Ernest and Olivette (Baillargeon) Valliere and lived most of her life in the Berlin-Gorham area. Lucille was a member of the Gorham Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and T.O.P.S. Chapter #57. She loved playing bingo, doing crafts and going for rides. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all.
Members of the family include her devoted husband of 42 years Paul H. Gleason of Cascade, Gorham, NH; a daughter Paula Beane and her husband Dave of Delaware; two sons Douglas Gleason and his companion Violet of Gorham, NH and Brian Gleason and his financee Shannon of Virginia; four grandsons Kyle, Benjamin, Brandon and Jacob; a granddaughter Emma; a brother Richard Valliere and wife Jeannette of Berlin, NH; a sister Anita Valliere of Berlin, NH; sister in law Chon Valliere of Massachusetts; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother Maurice Valliere and a sister Jeanne Valliere.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Friday evening June 18, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, NH. A service will follow the calling hours at 8 PM in the funeral home. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the Gorham Fire Dept. Association or to the Gorham Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary or the St. Jude Children’s Foundation.
