Dorothy A. Demoranville, 94, of New Bedford died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at New Bedford Health Care Center. Born in E. Freetown, daughter of the late Dennis and Ethel B. (Chace) Demoranville, she had lived in New Bedford for most of her life. Prior to retirement in 1989, she was an expediter for the former States Nitewear in New Bedford for 46 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading and volunteering at the Clifford Union Chapel in New Bedford.
Survivors include a nephew: Milton E. Demoranville, Jr. of Orlando, FL and several great and great great nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Milton E. Demoranville.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, May 24, 2010 at Chace Cemetery, E. Freetown at 11:00 A.M.
