In Taunton, May 17, 2010 Joseph Francis Masterson Jr. age 91 passed away in Morton Hospital after a brief illness. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Marion L. (Oliver) Masterson. He was born in Taunton to his late parents Joseph Sr.& Mary Masterson. He has resided in Raynham for most of his life. Joseph served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a shop foreman in the U.S. Air Force as a civil service employee, where he worked at Hanscom Air Force Base as a mechanic. He was a member of the American Legion and the Men’s Club at St. Ann’s Church in Raynham. Joseph leaves his children Joseph Masterson & his wife Irene of Taunton and Michael Masterson & his wife Paula of Fla. His late siblings: Mary and Edward Masterson. His grandchildren: Donna Marie Talley of CA, Joseph Masterson of Halifax, Richard Masterson of Berkley, Mark Masterson of Fla., Melissa Daly of Fla., Megan Hillegas of TN. and Matthew Masterson of Fla. and also ten great grandchildren. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Friday, May 21st at 8am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 9am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thurs. from 6-8pm. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
