DUDLEY - Mark E. Christian, 58, of Dudley, died Sunday, May 16, in Beth Israel Hospital, Boston.
He leaves his wife of 21 years, Donna C. (Wysocki) Christian; 3 children, Adam Christian of Melbourne, FL, Julie Christian and Rachel Christian, both of Dudley; 3 siblings, Frederick, Joan and Nancy; nephews and nieces.
He was born in Concord and raised in Bedford, the youngest child of Frederick and Helen (Barry) Christian. He graduated from Bedford High School in 1969 and earned a Bachelor of Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle University in Daytona, FL. He later did post graduate work in nuclear medicine at Worcester State College.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Christian began his career teaching flying lessons at the Worcester Airport. He held a commercial pilot’s license and flew corporate jets for several years. He was currently the regional manager for Navix Diagnostics.
He was a member of the Nichols College Golf Club. He played hockey in college and later coached his son’s team. He enjoyed taking vacation trips to Florida with his family.
No funeral services are planned. There are no calling hours. Donations in his name may be made to the New England Organ Bank, 60 First Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451-1106. Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, is directing arrangements.
