Inez Buford Morgan, age 73, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital-N MS in Oxford, MS. She was born in Water Valley, MS to the late Romenion Buford, Sr. and Sarah Avent Buford. She retired from her position as a stock keeper for McCanna. Inez was a member of the Church of Christ in Water Valley, MS.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 21, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 1:00 PM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The committal will be held in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Mrs. Inez is survived by her husband, Clarence Morgan, Jr. of Water Valley, MS; three daughters, Cynthia Luvert, Sharon Hall, and Rhonda Walker, all of Chicago, IL; a son, Travis Morgan of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Betty Robinson of Pomona, CA, Ruby Jean Buford of Chicago, IL, and Ann Lavern Ball of Chicago, IL; two brothers, Romenion Buford, Jr. of Chicago, IL and Rochester Buford of Water Valley, MS; six grandchildren, Ewaun Martin of Crest Hill, IL, David Walker, Tyran Morgan, Eric Hall, and Taniah Hall, and Shumesha Smith, all of Chicago, IL; and three great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Emmitt Buford and a grandson, Anthony Luvert.
