Obituary
Mrs. Lacey died Tuesday morning at the Brockton Hospital Transitional Care Unit after alengthy battle with cancer. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Clarence and Helen M. (Clark) Mandeville. She was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1948. When she was 18 she started to work for New England Telephone and left as a supervisor to stay home and raise her family. Member of Telephone Pioneers. She was very actively involved in her children’s activities, serving as a Cub Scout Den Mother and supporting youth team sports. She enjoyed time spent at her home in Cocoa Beach, Florida, crafting and time spent with her children and grandchildren.
