Myrtice Bryant Mobley, 91, of Fitzgerald died Monday, May 17, 2010 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, May 18 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. D.E. Beasley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mobley was born January 3, 1919 in Coffee County to the late Huey and Mollie Strickland Bryant. She lived in Fitzgerald most of her life and was a former resident of Augusta and Miami, FL. Mrs. Mobley was a former employee of H.R. Kaminsky & Sons and the Singer Sewing Shop. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mobley is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Rev. John K. & Pauline Mobley of Eastman; daughter: Linda Mobley Watson of Byron; grandchildren: Kevin (Lynn) Watson, Christy (Jason) Trimarchi, John K, (Rhonda) Mobley, Jr. and Kimberly (Raymond) McCullough; 7 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Mobley, brothers, Otis Bryant, Paul Bryant, Ernest Bryant, Oneal Bryant and sisters, Myrtle Meeler, Lorene Wolfe and Orilla Fussell.
