Obituary



Radley, Edward C., Sr., of Marshfield, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, May l4. Beloved husband of 5l years of Madeleine (Asselin) Radley, Dear father of Michele Spinale of Peabody, Alice Gibbons of Rockland, Patricia Fahey of Marshfield, Colleen Sullivan of Marshfield, Paula Nile of Coplin Plantation, ME, Denise Radley of Hyannisport, Edward Radley,Jr. of SanDiego, CA, Kristen Radley of Watertown and Jennifer Benoit of Fitchburg. Loving grandfather of l6 grandchildren, a sister Patricia Turco of Walpole and five nieces. Ed was a US Air Force veteran. After being discharged from the service, Ed met and married his wife Madeleine. He graduated from New England School of Law in l970 and began his law practice in Woburn, MA. He and Madeleine raised 9 children. Ed held the position of Assessor in both Woburn and Marshfield. He was Clerk Magistrate at The Somerville District Court. Ed received the high honor as the second attorney to accept the Masschusetts Bar Association Community Service Award for his work with the Marshfield SADD Program for which he felt was the crowning achievement of his long career.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., rte. l39, Marshfield, on Thursday, May 20 at 9 a.m.
followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Corner of Careswell and Canal St., Green Harbor, MA. at l0 a.m.
Funeral home visiting hours on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Interment at Massachusets National Cemetery, Bourne.
