BATEMAN, Marion D. (Driscoll) of Revere, formerly of Winthrop until 1987, May 14, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Chester E. Bateman. Devoted mother of Bonnie M. Bateman of Winchester and Cheryl M. Egan and her husband Albert P. Egan, both of Winthrop. Loving daughter of the late Maurice F. Driscoll and Agnes M. (Fitzgerald) Driscoll. She was predeceased by the late Maurice F., John F., William F. and Leo Driscoll, Dorothy (“Dede”) Bowditch, Agnes M. Dunphy and Elizabeth Grady. She left several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was a graduate of Winthrop High School, Class of 1934, former Public Health Worker for the Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health, and a volunteer at the Whidden Memorial Hospital, Everett, MA, from 1995 – 2007. At her request, committal will be private. Visiting hours will be held on May 22, 2010 at the Winchester Unitarian Church, 478 Main Street, Winchester MA, from 11am to 2pm.
