WEBSTER – Monica T. “Mickey” (Mroczek) Goglinski, 93, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, in Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Her husband of 16 years, Norbert N. Goglinski, died in 1967.
She leaves behind three daughters and their spouses, Kathleen and Robert Uluski of Fort Washington, PA, Nancy and Robert Russell of Arlington, TX and Deborah and John Lamarre of Dudley; six grandchildren, Derek and Devin Uluski, Kristin, Ryan and Matthew Russell, and Sean Lamarre; three sisters, Tessie Surozenski and Theresa Makowski, both of Webster, and Josephine Kaczmarek and her husband Edmund of Dudley; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Edmund Mroczek, and by four sisters, Hermina Madura, Adele Pakulski, Valencia Plasse and Charlotte Klekotka.
She was born and raised in Webster, the daughter of Joseph and Leokadya (Bonczek) Mroczek and was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Goglinski was employed by Webster Lens Company as a supervisor for several years. She then was a clerk in the tax collector’s department for the Town of Webster before retiring in 1981. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica.
The family would like to thank Dr. John Platt and his medical staff who took great care of Monica and also to the staff at the emergency room at Harrington at Hubbard in Webster and the Intensive Care Unit at Saint Vincent’s Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 20, in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to the Friends of Saint Joseph School Fund, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 0l570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
