Mrs. Antoinette “Lena” Bozzi, age 94 of Billerica, died Thursday at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is the wife of the late Vincent Bozzi Sr. who passed away last September. Mrs. Bozzi was born in Sicily, daughter of the late Frank and Rosaria Parisi. She emigrated to the United States at the age of 12 with her parents and settled in West Roxbury. She later lived in Arlington from 1959 until 1993. Mrs. Bozzi worked as a tailor of fine garments. She loved to cook, travel and particularly liked venues such as Foxwoods and Las Vegas. In earlier years she loved to play bingo and was often seen playing at the Senior Center in Burlington or the Tewksbury Elks. Well known for her “green Thumb”, she was often the person to ask about any type of plant or vegetable. She remembered fondly, the feasts of St. Anthony in the North End, however nothing gave her more enjoyment than her family, grandchildren and extended family and friends. She is survived by a daughter: Sandra Bozzi and her dear friend Dr. Anne Venezia of Billerica, two sons: John Bozzi and his wife Sharon of Billerica, Vincent Bozzi Jr. and his wife Barbara of Arlington. She is the loving grandmother of Michael, Stephen & Lisa Bozzi. She is the sister of the late Frank Parisi Jr., Santa Mirisola, Angie D'Angelo, and Sally Parisi. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street MEDFORD Monday at 9 am. Followed by a funeral mass in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 pm. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
