Mary E. (Daley) Scales 62, of 23 Westbrook Rd. died Monday, Oct. 27, at home after an illness.
Her husband of 34 years, Francis P. Scales died in 1999. She leaves a daughter, Christine M. Scales-Cohen of Paxton; two brothers, Kevin J. Daley and Bill Daley both of Worcester; two sisters, Judith A. Daley of Worcester and Frances R. Cutty of Auburn; a grandson Mitchell Cohen and a granddaughter Darian Cohen and nephews and nieces. She was born in Lawrence, daughter of Francis J. and Alice R. (Hougton) Daley and graduated from Commerce High School.
She was a secretary for the Worcester School Department at South High School, previously she worked at Nurses House Call.She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
A Funeral will be held Thursday, Oct 30, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church 555 Pleasant St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling Hours are Wednesday, Oct 29. From 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
